Newly-engaged Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sent fans into meltdown as they revealed their bombshell marriage announcement on Tuesday.

The popstar and the NFL icon, both 35, dropped the announcement with a romantic photoshoot showing Kelce proposing in a rose garden, which Swift captioned: ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

Swift also revealed her mammoth diamond engagement ring in the post.

The star shared the post on her Instagram, set to ballad So High School, which is about her enduring love for Kelce.

The couple went public with their relationship back in September 2023 when the singer appeared at Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City alongside his mother, Donna.

Since that day, nearly three years ago, their romance has captivated the world, with Swift supporting Kelce’s run to two Super Bowls while the football star has traveled alongside her around the globe on her wildly successful Eras tour.

Kelce’s close friend Patrick Mahomes was quick to congratulate the couple, sharing Swift’s post on Instagram with three love-hearts.

Within minutes, the couple’s joint post received likes from stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Vanessa Bryant and Kelsea Ballerini.

In the wake of the announcement, Swift, Kelce and her hit Love Story began trending.

Prior to Kelce, Swift was in a six year romance with actor Joe Alwyn, 34, and had brief romances with Calvin Harris, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Harry Styles and John Mayer.

Meanwhile, her husband-to-be dated content creator and sports reporter, Kayla Nicole, from 2017 to 2022.

His other past relationships include Maya Benberry, who he met on his reality show Catching Kelce in 2016, and Zuri Hall, who he was linked with in early 2023.
