Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel delivered a sharp and humorous response after President Donald Trump once again demanded that ABC remove him from the air.
Speaking during Tuesday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian didn’t hold back.
Kimmel opened his monologue by highlighting Trump’s latest social media post criticizing the show and calling for his firing.
With his usual comedic flair, Kimmel responded directly to the president: “I’ll go when you go, OK? We’ll be a team.”
The audience erupted in laughter as Kimmel continued joking about Trump’s long-running fixation on late-night hosts, saying the president seems “more dedicated to TV ratings than presidential duties.”
ABC has made no public comment on Trump’s demand, but Kimmel made clear he has no intention of stepping aside—especially not at Trump’s urging.
“Until then,” Kimmel quipped, “I’ll be right here… and apparently so will he.”
