JUST IN: President Donald Trump Sends Five Words STRONG RESPONSE After China Warns the U.S. Not to Take Military Action Against Venezuela, Saying Washington Must Not Threaten a Country Where Beijing Is a Major Investor
President Donald Trump issued a forceful response on Monday after China publicly warned the United States against taking any military action in Venezuela, insisting that Washington must avoid threatening a nation where Beijing holds major strategic and financial interests.
China’s Foreign Ministry earlier cautioned the U.S. to “act with restraint,” stressing that Venezuela’s sovereignty should not be compromised.
The statement referenced Beijing’s extensive investments in the country’s oil, infrastructure, and technology sectors—ties China says it will “firmly defend.”
In remarks from the White House, Trump dismissed China’s warning as “unacceptable interference,” asserting that the United States will not allow foreign powers to dictate its decisions or limit its influence in the Western Hemisphere.
“No country can tell the United States how to protect its interests or how to respond to instability in our own region,” Trump said, adding that “all options remain on the table” regarding Venezuela’s political and humanitarian crisis.
The exchange marks a new flashpoint in already strained U.S.–China relations, raising concerns among foreign policy analysts about potential escalation between the two global powers.
While Trump did not specify whether military action is imminent, administration officials say discussions regarding Venezuela remain ongoing, with the president emphasizing that “the safety of the hemisphere” is a top priority.
