Liam Neeson is done looking for a romantic partnership.
When asked if he dates during a recent interview with People, the “Taken” star, 72, bluntly replied, “No, in a word.”
“I’m past all that,” Neeson said.
The Oscar nominated actor was married to Natasha Richardson from 1994 to 2009, when she tragically died from an epidural hematoma after accidentally hitting her head while skiing.
“It was a horrible thing to happen,” he said of her death.
A year and a half after the “Parent Trap” star’s death, Neeson began dating businesswoman Freya St. Johnston. The pair split after two years together.
The actor hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone in the decade since their breakup — despite claiming in 2016 that he was romantically involved with an “incredibly famous” woman.
Although Neeson prefers to keep his relationships under wraps, he last hinted about this dating life during an interview in February 2022 for his film “Blacklight.”
While chatting with the Australian morning talk show “Sunrise,” Neeson admitted he “fell in love” with an Aussie woman while filming in Melbourne.
However, Neeson didn’t get to voice his feelings as the unnamed woman was not on the market.
“I loved Melbourne, I loved our Australian crew,” he said. “Every department was superb but they were their own people, do you know what I mean?”
“They had a great sense of humor,” he added. “I made a couple of pals and fell in love once while I was there, but she was taken.”
Neeson did not disclose whether the unnamed woman was a co-star or someone else on set.
Without a romantic relationship keeping him busy, the “Schindler’s List” star told People he spends most of his time working, reading and doing “simple stuff” like watching movies with his sons Micheál, 29, and Daniel, 28.
“I’m incredibly lucky,” he told the outlet. “I never, ever forget that. Even on a bad day on a movie set, for example, I always nip myself and say, ‘Come on, come on. You have nothing to complain about.’ And it’s true.”
When looking back at the life he has built with his sons, Neeson said, “I think Natasha would be proud. I hope so.”
