Megan Fox, 38, and Machine Gun Kelly, 34, will ‘never’ reconcile as insiders lift the lid on why their breakup is final
Pregnant Megan Fox ended her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly after she suspected he had been texting other women insiders have claimed, adding that she had also grown tired of his behavior.
The Transformers actress, 38, called off her near five year romance with the 34-year-old singer, real name Colson Baker, around Thanksgiving weekend which they spent together in Vail, Colorado.
Megan walked away from their tumultuous relationship just weeks after the couple announced they are expecting their first child together.
‘Megan was just done with all of it,’ one insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘She was done with his behavior and the way that he treated her.
‘When she fell pregnant, he thought it meant that she would stay with him no matter what – and it is not the case.
‘The most important thing in Megan’s world right now is her unborn baby and she has no problem raising the child on her own.’
‘She’s left him before, but this time seems final. Her friends support her wholeheartedly and over the past few years they have grown to really dislike him.
‘Her friends were worried this was going to happen.’
Another insider told DailyMail.com that Megan grew tired of their ‘high-school relationship’ which was characterized by ‘never-ending’ drama.
‘The way they operate is drama,’ they said. ‘It’s like a never-ending high school relationship. For weeks and months, everything was fine but when they get into fights, it is all or nothing. It took a turn for the worst during Thanksgiving.
‘She is convinced Colson is cheating on her, or has cheated on her. She has accused him of texting a bunch of girls and if it hasn’t led to physical cheating, it is emotional cheating in her eyes.
‘Now, Colson is trying to get back on track with her.’
Megan is around six months pregnant and is set to welcome their child in March.
The pair are said to have split less than two weeks after the pregnancy reveal when she ‘found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early,’ TMZ first reported.
The musician is then said to have left the vacation and the exes have not seen each other since.
Megan, who has children, Noah, 11, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, seven, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, revealed her pregnancy on November 11, sharing a sexy photo of herself covered with black paint and showcasing her baby bump.
It was accompanied by a picture of a positive pregnancy test.
‘Nothing is ever really lost,’ she wrote. ‘Welcome back.’
The announcement was sound tracked to MGK’s song Last November, which references the miscarriage she previously suffered with the musician.
Last week, insiders claimed Megan’s friends were fearful that the rapper had ‘indirectly’ revealed the sex of their child.
‘They know the sex of the baby, and they haven’t told many people,’ a source told DailyMail.com at the time.
‘But Colson keeps mentioning that he would love to have a baby boy, which friends feel is him indirectly telling people the sex of the child.’
The baby will be MGK’s second child. He has Casie Colson Baker, 15, with his ex-girlfriend, Emma Cannon.
Megan and MGK had a rocky relationship since finding love in 2020, with the pair getting engaged in January 2022 – though it was called off for a short spell.
The insider noted that the pregnancy had been a great anchor for the couple.
‘The way that this pregnancy is going has really grounded Colson,’ they said. ‘They aren’t stressed about it or with each other and they seem to be embracing every moment.
‘Colson seems to be in a different headspace and very happy. Megan is feeling good this time around with her pregnancy. She has joked that she is now an old pro.’
The whole brood was excited by the news, with Megan recently opening up about how her other children had reacted to having a new sibling.
‘The kids are all super excited for another addition to the family and have promised to help out and pitch in,’ she told People magazine.
