Fans are reacting over Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce warning to Travis Kelce ahead of New Orleans Super Bowl. Is This Right? 👇
On a tight leash.
Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce warned Travis Kelce about his partying before he travels to New Orleans for the Super Bowl LIX.
The Kansas City Star shared a video on social media featuring the trio celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Buffalo Bills 32-29 at the AFC Championship.
“Take me back to my old New Orleans home. I owe New Orleans a little something…” Travis told his mom and Swift while chatting on the field of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., Sunday night.
That prompted Swift to ask if he was referring to the 2010 Sugar Bowl to which the tight end simply nodded.
“Yeah, no going to Bourbon Street,” the “Cruel Summer” singer, 35, warned him with a smile as Donna, 72, agreed.
“Yeah, I won’t be having as much fun that night,” he assured them before pulling Swift closer by her waist.
The “Grotesquerie” actor, 35, then admitted he would not have any “[hand] grenades,” a cocktail made of vodka, rum, gin and melon liqueur.
In 2010, Travis was suspended from the University of Cincinnati football team after testing positive for marijuana.
The Cincinnati Bearcats traveled to New Orleans to face against the Florida Gators at the Sugar Bowl. However, Travis was forced to sit out the game after the NCAA performed random drug tests.
“I was down in New Orleans, listening to Lil Wayne, and I wanted to smoke what he was smoking,” he recalled in a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair.
“I’m just sitting there, dead in the water,” he told the outlet of his one-year suspension. “I just wanted to get out of there. I was so embarrassed, I didn’t want to look at anybody.”
Following the incident, Travis considered quitting football before his brother, Jason Kelce, helped get him straight.
On Sunday night, the Chiefs clinched a spot for their third-straight Super Bowl, where they will be facing the Philadelphia Eagles.
Swift was front row during the game after she was spotted walking into the stadium in a full Louis Vuitton outfit.
In videos shared by fans, she was seen hugging her mom, Andrea Swift, and Travis’ mom, Donna, as the Chiefs scored multiple touchdowns.
Once the Chiefs had secured the AFC Championship win, Taylor met Travis on the field where they were not shy about packing on the PDA. She was also excitedly seen jumping up and down in celebration as they left the field.
The couple — who has been dating since the summer of 2023 — celebrated with the rest of the Chiefs team at a private afterparty at Prime Social.
“Taylor and Travis were dancing together and clearly very much in love,” an insider told Page Six exclusively on Monday. “They were kissing and looked so happy together. Everybody seemed like they had a great time.”
Taylor, as well as her family and Travis’ family, are expected to attend the Super Bowl on Feb. 9.
