Ben Affleck was showing off some new gray hair when out with his son Samuel at a park in Los Angeles on Thursday.

When the 52-year-old movie star father looked down at his German Shepherd dog before throwing a ball, the top of his head could be seen.

There seemed to be a tuft of silver locks surrounded by his natural brown hair that he is known for.

His beard was darker and had only sprinkles of gray hair.

Affleck wore a black jacket with silver buttons and a print button-down shirt with khaki slacks and white high-top sneakers.

His 12-year-old Samuel, whose mother is Jennifer Garner, had on a black Nike shirt with orange Nike sweatpants, white socks and teal slides.

The father and son duo looked happy as they played with the dog.

This sighting comes as Ben’s divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez, 55, has just been finalized.

On Friday TMZ reported that they former flames are now officially, legally single after filing their settlement on January 6.

Lopez famously filed for divorce on what would have been their second wedding anniversary, August 20, 2024.

In addition to Samuel, Ben shares Violet, 19, and Fin, 16, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

It was revealed last fall that Lopez is refraining from jumping into another relationship in the wake of her split from Ben.

The ex couple rekindled their romance in early 2021 following their called-off engagement nearly 20 years earlier. They went on to tie the knot in 2022.

The singer has been prioritizing herself and as of late last year, had no plans to start dating again.

Jen like most people, would love to have love in her life again,’ an insider told DailyMail.com at the time.

‘But the one person she has to give her time to right now is herself. If something presents itself, then obviously life and love find a way, but she isn’t looking to get into any new relationships,’ the person emphasized.

Following her latest breakup, Jennifer opened up to Interview magazine about the demise of her fourth marriage.

‘It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate,’ she told comedian Nikki Glaser in the in-depth chat.

She added, ‘But when you sit in those feelings and go, “These things are not going to kill me,” it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me.

‘I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself. I used to say I’m a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill, and it’s just like, “No, I’m actually good.”’

As for Ben, despite being left ‘exhausted’ by the dissolution of his latest marriage, the actor is tentatively opening himself up to dating with after support from loved ones.

‘This weight is lifted from him and he is ready to move on and date again — if the right woman comes along,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘He is taking a minute because this has taken a toll on him. He is staying close to his family and his sobriety circle.’
