Governor Jim Justice released a statement praising Beckstrom’s service and urging national leaders to “honor her sacrifice with dignity and seriousness.”

The White House has not issued further clarification regarding Trump’s plans or whether an official tribute will be released in Beckstrom’s honor.
Beckstrom’s family has requested privacy as funeral arrangements remain underway.
