Breaking News:Tennessee nurse shocks and confuses TikTok users with her VERY uncanny resemblance to Taylor Swift – and even has some viewers convinced the pop star does her laundry in the bathtub

Thousands of TikTok users were surprised and confused to come across a video of Taylor Swift explaining how she does her laundry in the bathtub — until realizing the woman in the video was just a very good lookalike.

Ashley, the singer’s Nashville, Tennessee-based doppelgänger, went viral last week with a video in which she explains that she doesn’t have a washing machine or dryer, so she does her laundry with detergent in a bathtub.  

Many of the video’s 2.5 million viewers were baffled by the clip, convinced that it was posted by Swift herself — prompting Ashley to assure them that she is ‘in no way, shape, or form a celebrity.’

In the clip, Ashley’s resemblance to Taylor is uncanny as she dances into her bathroom.

The nurse’s hair is up in a ponytail, her slightly curled bangs identical to the singer’s and her big lashes and slightly pink lips completing the illusion.

A caption on the screen reads, ‘How have you been doing your laundry without a washer and dyer?’

Ashley dances around until the camera shows a large tub behind her with Tide detergent on the ledge.

‘I do not recommend doing 3 loads in one day. Rinse repeat. I am done,’ she wrote.

Someone quickly scrolling through TikTok could easily be fooled into thinking it was the Folklore singer herself showing off her labor-heavy laundry routine — and many did.

‘Taylor Swift in my FYP doing laundry in her tub,’ wrote one commenter.

‘Lol Taylor Swift is gonna be like “When did I make this video?” wrote another.

‘Low key, did a double take. Totally thought u were Taylor Swift,’ added a third, while a fourth said, ‘How come you still have time to wash your clothes when you already really busy in recording a lot of albums?’
