The Kansas City Chiefs began their season with a win on Thursday night, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 27-20, with a little luck at the end of the game.
Travis Kelce didn’t have his best game, but he made a couple of key catches and blocks throughout.
As has become somewhat customary, Taylor Swift was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium, supporting her boyfriend from a private box.
The two were pictured leaving the stadium holding hands after it was over, and they appear to have wasted no time celebrating.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce travel to New York after Chiefs win
After a postgame party in the area with some teammates, Kelce and Swift took a plane to New York City.
On Friday night, they were spotted entering famous pizza restaurant Lucali in Brooklyn.
Given they played on a Thursday night, Chiefs players should have a couple of extra days of rest before needing to prepare for their Week 2 game.
In any other season, Kelce would likely have stayed in Kansas City to rest and recuperate, but having a global superstar as your significant other changes your life just a bit.
The Chiefs have a big game next weekend, hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. The two teams have developed a bitter rivalry over the past three seasons.
