Doug Emhoff’s ex reveals how second gentleman slapped her ‘so hard’ that she spun around: ‘I saw his dark side’

An ex-girlfriend of Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, has come forward to slam the second gentleman for denying that he ever struck her in the face when they were a couple.

“What’s frightening for a woman that’s been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed,” the woman, identified only as Jane, told the Daily Mail Thursday.

“He’s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking.”

The assault allegations first came to light in earlier this month when Jane’s friends recounted to the Daily Mail what allegedly occurred during the violent dispute back in 2012.

One friend claimed Emhoff slapped his then-girlfriend because the lawyer believed she had been flirting with a valet worker after they attended the amfAR gala dinner at the Cannes Film Festival together.

“He hauled up and slapped her so hard, she spun around. She said she was in utter shock,” a second pal further alleged to the outlet.

A spokesperson for Emhoff then told Semafor that the “report is untrue,” adding that “any suggestion that he would or ever hit a woman is false.”

However, Jane recounted to the Daily Mail Thursday what allegedly happened to her, reiterating that Emhoff allegedly slapped her “so hard” she “spun around,” making her feel in “utter shock.”

“There had been no fight, no argument. It had been a completely fantastic event,” she said.

“I am so furious. The only thing I could think to do was slap him back. I slapped him on one side, and on the other cheek with the other hand.”

According to Jane, Emhoff made it seem as if they were “even” since she had also struck him, and allegedly used the tennis reference, “Don’t worry about it, you got one across the court and down the line.”

“In retrospect, it was the best thing that could possibly have happened, because his mask dropped, and I realized I shouldn’t waste another moment with him,” she said.

The ex-girlfriend said she could finally see Emhoff’s “dark side” but has since realized that she should have recognized the lawyer had red flags a lot sooner.

Jane dated Emhoff for a few months in 2012 after his divorce from his first wife, Kerstin Emhoff.

They met on Match.com and she claimed he “love-bombed” her from the very start, including inviting his son to their first date — which she thought was an “odd request,” talking about marriage and kids very early on and flying her out to Los Angeles to stay in his home for a week.

One day, Jane claimed, Doug also confessed to her that he had cheated on Kerstin with his daughter’s nanny, Nayjen Naylor, who also happened to be the child’s school teacher.

The lawyer allegedly told his then-girlfriend that the nanny claimed she had gotten pregnant, but after a dispute, miscarried the baby and blamed the loss on Doug.

“He said she got a lawyer and was threatening litigation. I was flabbergasted. And I was taken aback by how matter-of-fact he could talk about it,” Jane told the Daily Mail.

The ex further claimed that Doug told her he never hit Naylor but only “yelled” at her during their big fight.

She added, “He tried to minimize it. He said there was no proof that the woman had become pregnant. He tried to make it seem like she was scamming him.”

In August, Doug admitted to having an affair with Naylor in a statement to CNN.

He said at the time, “During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side.”

Jane told the Daily Mail that when she sees her ex on TV “portraying the persona of a perfect spouse and non-toxic man,” she wonders if Naylor feels “as disgusted” as she does.

Doug, 60, has been married to Harris, who recently turned 60, since 2014, and the vice president has not commented on the allegations made about her husband.

Jane said when she first learned the politician got engaged to Harris, she thought, “She clearly has not done due diligence on him,” and that “He’s putting the hard sell on her, like he did with me.”
