Inside Liam Payne and girlfriend Kate Cassidy’s Argentina trip days before his death

Liam Payne and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, enjoyed a romantic getaway to Argentina days before he died.

Earlier this week, the influencer took to TikTok to share several photos of her trip abroad paired with Chris Isaak’s 1989 track, “Wicked Games.”

Several snaps showed Cassidy and the One Direction singer, who had been dating since October 2022, riding horses in an open field, while another showed the plateful of Oreos they ate for breakfast one day.

Cassidy also gave a glimpse inside the hotel she and Payne stayed at, featuring a marble staircase and several art pieces.

The blond beauty shared a snap of the “What Makes You Beautiful” crooner from the waist down as they cuddled together on a couch with a bag of candy.

“Skittles and bf,” she wrote with a green heart emoji.

Documenting her many meals, including empanadas, Cassidy shared they ate cookies “every day” and McDonald’s in bed every other night.

The couple also seemingly attended Beatles legend Paul McCartney’s performance at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires on Oct. 5.

Cassidy shared herself sitting in a VIP section of the stadium ahead of the show.

She also posted a snap of a silver tray with candles for “manifesting” and several outfit of the day pictures.

“80% of these photos are food,” Cassidy captioned the photo dump.

Payne and Cassidy arrived in Buenos Aires on Sept. 30, and the UK-born singer attended his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s concert at the Movistar Arena on Oct. 5.

Cassidy left the country solo two days before Payne tragically died after falling from the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Local police reported the “Night Changes” singer’s fall left him with “extremely serious injuries,” and he was pronounced dead at the scene by medics, according to the Associated Press.

Pablo Policicchio, a rep for the Security Ministry of Buenos Aires, claimed Payne “had thrown himself from the balcony of his room.”

Police at the scene found his body in the courtyard after hearing a loud thud.

Ahead of the incident, cops were called to the hotel after receiving notice of an “aggressive man” who appeared to be under the influence of a substance.

According to TMZ, eyewitnesses saw the “X Factor” alum slamming his computer in the hotel lobby before he was carried off to his room.

Earlier in the day, he posted on Snapchat that he was having a “lovely day in Argentina.”

Sources told Page Six that the “Steal My Girl” singer, who was candid about battling addiction, had been “cycling through periods of ruinous behavior” for years.

“He was open about his struggles but tried to downplay them at times. His demons were much worse than he let on.”

Payne was the father to 7-year-old son Bear, whom he shared with ex Cheryl Cole. The exes dated from 2016 to 2018.
