The Kelce brothers have joined Club $100 million!
The Monday Night Countdown analyst, 36, and the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, have signed a landmark nine-figure, three-year deal with Amazon’s Wondery to distribute their podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, according to a news release from the company on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights,” the Ohio natives said in a statement. “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons.”
The podcasters had been searching for a new deal in the $100 million range for their popular and award-winning weekly show after the season 2 finale.
“They will absolutely get that much. These aren’t vanity deals, these shows are cash machines,” a podcast industry executive told PEOPLE in July.
The new contract with Wondery includes global distribution rights to all audio and video episodes of the podcast, New Heights’ back catalog of all content and rights to create international audio adaptations of the podcast for global audiences, according to the release.
Since debuting in September 2022, New Heights has been serving up highlights in the podcast space. The tight end and his retired NFL star brother use their platform to reflect on everything from their experiences on the field to sharing personal stories and discussing cultural touchstones.
After Travis began his relationship with Taylor Swift last year, the podcast embraced a new audience. The brothers have long referred to their fans as “92 percenters,” joking that 92% of listeners tune in for football, while the remainder are Swifties and other non-NFL fans.
Jason has previously said that it’s “been fun” to welcome the new demographic while bantering with his brother about everything from football to their favorite cheeseburgers.
Ranked as the No. 1 sports podcast on both Apple and Spotify during football season, New Heights has charted in the top 3 spots for podcasts overall. The podcast has won Ambies, Webbys and Shorty awards. Wave Sports + Entertainment will continue to provide production services for New Heights, according to Wondery.
As the Kelces welcome new fans into the fold — or “Club 92” — they say they’re “thrilled” to embark on the new chapter.
“We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers said in the news release.
