Affleck continued dating Jennifer Lopez in 2021 and the couple married in 2022. Garner did not attend her ex-husband’s wedding. However, she explained to Town & Countryside She had her own wedding that year to celebrate her 50th birthday.

“I basically threw myself a wedding,” she told the publication. “I was so shocked when I did it.”

Garner’s birthday fell on Easter that year (April 17), so she invited her sisters and parents over to celebrate the holiday and her birthday. She asked other birthday attendees to help support the Blessings in a Backpack program by asking guests to fill 5,000 backpacks with food to feed a family of four.

She talked to More about her big birthday, which will be attended by family and friends. “My family has tickets to come,” she explained, “my parents and my sisters, my nieces and nephews. I don’t know what we’re going to do, but I can’t wait.”
