JUST IN: Dak Prescott speak out on ugly spitting feud with Jalen Carter
Jalen Carter took full responsibility after getting ejected from Philadelphia Eagles’ 24-20 win over Dallas Cowboys before a snap had taken place.
Seconds into the game, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott spat on the ground near the Eagles defensive huddle while Philadelphia fullback Ben VanSumeren, who was later carted off the field, was down having his knee examined.
Carter saw what Prescott did and took exception, squaring up to the Cowboys signal caller and spitting directly onto him. The referees saw, and promptly kicked him out the game.
‘I feel bad for my teammates and the fans out there. I’m doing it for them,’ Carter said. ‘It was a mistake that happened on my side.
‘It won’t happen again. I don’t try to do nothing out of the ordinary. I wanted to be out there with the guys so bad.’
