JUST IN: Rep. Jasmine Crockett says Marjorie Taylor Greene helped fuel “hate” and never understood the damage she caused, claiming Greene made things worse for others while avoiding the fallout.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett issued a sharp rebuke of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Friday, arguing that the Georgia congresswoman has spent years “pouring gasoline on every fire” in American politics while escaping accountability for the consequences.
Crockett said Greene “never once paused to understand the harm she created,” accusing her of amplifying conspiracy theories, encouraging hostility toward colleagues, and stirring division that others were left to deal with.
According to Crockett, Greene “made things worse for everyone else while protecting herself from the fallout,” noting that staff, lawmakers, and even constituents often bore the brunt of the uproar Greene triggered.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions in Congress, where internal clashes have intensified over recent policy battles and public statements.
Crockett’s comments underscore the growing frustration among lawmakers who argue that Greene’s behavior has crossed from disruptive to dangerous.
Neither Greene nor her office has responded to the criticism.
