Kayla Nicole makes surprising confession about Travis Kelce and Taylor swift’s relationship

Call it what you want — Kayla Nicole sees her ex Travis Kelce moving on with Taylor Swift as a compliment.

The 33-year-old, who did not name the A-list couple on Friday’s episode of her “Pre-Game” podcast, hinted that the athlete’s romance makes her “look good.”

The topic came up when one of Nicole’s listeners called in for advice about getting over an ex — while acknowledging that her former partner’s new girl is “hot.”

Nicole noted, “I think as women, something we struggle with is admitting that the new girl might be popping, might be s–t, might be really hot and there’s no problem in admitting that.”

She compared the experience to losing a playoff basketball game to a team that goes on to win the championship.

“If you’re gonna lose, I want to lose to the best team now,” the sports journalist quipped. “I want you to move on and go do your big one. Make me look good. Right?”

Nicole explained, “It’s so much worse if the guy that you loved and you dated for so long and you’re so heartbroken over goes and dates a dud.

“Now you look stupid, he looks stupid, we all look stupid [and] everyone’s questioning your taste,” she continued. “Like, ‘What the f–k are you doing?’”

Nicole concluded the segment by giving the fan “kudos … for acknowledging [the other woman] is hot.”

She gushed, “Give her her flowers. Them over there, whatever they’re doing is their business. They deserve love as much as you do.”

The “I Am Athlete Daily” host, notably, dated Kelce on and off from 2017 to 2022.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, went public with Swift, also 35, in September 2023.

While Nicole has not debuted a new romance since the split, she did tell listeners at the start of the episode about getting “out of [her] cave” last week and giving out her “number to everyone.”

She joked, “The men are outside. Ladies, you’ve got outside. There are some fine, fine men out there. Who knew?”

Nicole also opened up about the “life-changing” therapy she underwent while “heartbroken” over a past romance.

Nicole has not mentioned Kelce directly on her show, which launched in April, but she did reignite rumors he cheated on her and dissed him over vet bills for the dogs she took “full responsibility” for.

On the “Second Wind Podcast” earlier this month, she hit back at haters telling her to “move on” from her time with the Super Bowl winner.

“To them I’d say, ‘You too,” Nicole said.
