Liam Payne allegedly ordered nine bottles of whisky and 13 grams of cocaine before his death, according to a new report.
Prosecutors claimed in documents obtained by TMZ Tuesday that the former One Direction singer was on a bender the night before and morning of his fatal fall from a third-story balcony at CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
They mapped out a timeline of Payne’s final hours, claiming he ordered four bottles of whisky at 10 p.m. on Oct. 15. He then ordered another five bottles at 6:36 a.m. on Oct. 16.
After allegedly texting his friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores at 7 a.m. that he was “going to f–k a hooker,” Payne reached out again at 9:32 a.m. asking for “6 grams,” presumably referring to cocaine, per the outlet.
Prosecutors claimed Nores, an Argentine businessman who had previously identified himself as Payne’s manager, then arrived for breakfast at CasaSur, where the late star drank whisky.
During their meal, a maid was cleaning Payne’s trashed hotel room when he returned frantically looking for something and eventually found a “powder.”
At 11:30 a.m., two prostitutes allegedly showed up, though it is unclear who called them. The two women claimed to police that they had sex with Payne before he asked them for more cocaine.
The “X Factor” alum allegedly refused to pay the prostitutes for their services and became enraged when they requested money, leading him to punch the TV in his room three times.
Page Six had previously reported that two women had been interviewed by cops after claiming they had been in Payne’s room before he died. However, they were not present at the time of his death.
By 2 p.m., the “Night Changes” crooner allegedly asked a hotel employee for “another 7 grams for today,” according to TMZ.
Nores came back to CasaSur at 3:45 p.m. to pay the prostitutes, and 15 minutes later, hotel staff saw Payne “visibly drunk” with dilated pupils.
Nores left the hotel at 4:04 p.m., shortly before a housekeeper heard Payne destroying his room. A hotel staffer allegedly tried to call Nores, but he did not pick up. By 4:25 p.m., the businessman texted Payne, “How are you?” but it went unanswered.
Nores is one of the three people being charged in connection to Payne’s death, with prosecutors coming after him for abandonment. They claim Nores knew about the former boy bander falling off the wagon and had failed to tell his family about it.
Payne’s dad, Geoff Payne, reportedly told authorities that Nores had volunteered to take care of his famous son and arrange to put him in rehab in May.
Per the documents obtained by TMZ, Geoff told Nores it was critical that Liam stay busy and was never alone to sustain his sobriety.
However, the singer’s father knew something was wrong in September when Liam fired a bodyguard who was trying to stop him from using drugs, according to the report.
On Monday, it was revealed that a bodyguard had locked Liam in a Florida rental, as he suspected the singer was on a bender. The star, however, escaped by shimming down a hose on the balcony.
Nores has denied any involvement in his pal’s death and claims he was with Liam up until an hour before he fell. The musician was allegedly fine when Nores left him.
However, a judge recently dismissed the charges against Nores, ruling that local prosecutors should pursue abandonment cases — rather than the national prosecutors handling Liam’s case.
Although the national prosecutors tried to appeal this ruling, it was rejected and no local prosecutors have filed the charges.
Two men — an alleged drug dealer and a hotel employee — have also been charged in Liam’s death for supplying him with drugs.
A little over an hour after Nores paid the prostitutes, Liam began acting erratically in the lobby of the hotel, according to eyewitnesses.
He was then carried off by three men — presumably hotel staff — by his arms and legs back to his room, where he was locked, according to CCTV footage released last week.
Finding himself trapped, it is presumed that Liam tried to escape by climbing down the balcony after putting on a New York Yankees hat and strapping on his Louis Vuitton bag.
However, it seems he lost consciousness and fell to his death. He was 31.
An autopsy determined a cranial fracture and external and internal bleeding caused Liam’s death. A toxicology report also found that he had cocaine, crack and “pink cocaine,” among other drugs, in his system.
Liam had arrived in Buenos Aires with girlfriend Kate Cassidy in early October. However, she decided to return to the United States two days before his death, which sent him into a spiral.
His body was laid to rest in England on Nov. 20 after a private funeral attended by his former One Direction bandmates: Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan. Cassidy, his 7-year-old son, Bear, and ex Cheryl Cole also paid their respects.
