Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ kids remain supportive of him after arrest, haven’t read indictment: report
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ kids are in his corner.
The rapper’s seven children all remain supportive of the embattled music mogul following his arrest, TMZ reported Tuesday.
Sources told the outlet that Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, Chance, 18, twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17, and Love, 1, are “stand[ing] behind” Combs.
According to one insider, D’Lila and Jessie are “keeping their father in their daily prayers and remain hopeful he will be released from jail.”
The high school graduates and their older siblings have reportedly not read their father’s bombshell indictment — and “have no interest in doing so.”
While Quincy, Justin and Christian have been photographed in New York City since Combs was taken into custody last week, the twins remain in California.
The outlet noted their “great support team,” which includes their late mother Kim Porter‘s pals Lawanda “Lala” Lane and Kimora Lee Simmons.
The women are “both doing their best to make sure the girls are not focused on Diddy’s arrest … instead making sure the girls are empowered and protected,” TMZ claimed.
The Grammy winner has had “brief” contact with his children via phone while being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, without bail, according to People.
“It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in,” a source told the outlet Monday. “This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy — he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”
Combs, who is being held without bail, has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.
In a statement, lawyer Marc Agnifilo claimed to Page Six that his client is an “imperfect” but “innocent man.”
