He’s known for his self-deprecating sense of humor.

During an appearance at Comic Con in San Diego, Ryan Reynolds, joked about watching his two children while his wife, Blake Lively, is out of the country filming a new movie.

‘My wife’s been shooting a film overseas so I’ve been having a ton of time to pretend like I’m watching the kids. She’s probably filing divorce papers as we speak,’ Ryan said according to E! News.

Ryan sat on the panel in support of his latest film Deadpool 2 with co-stars that included Zazie Beetz, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic.

There seems to be little doubt that Ryan’s ‘filing divorce papers’ joke was another playful dig at parenting and at those divorce rumors that have dogged the Hollywood couple.

A few months ago, the 41-year old used a little humor to address an International Business Times article that claimed the couple was heading toward divorce.

‘I wish. I could use a little me time,’ the star joked on Twitter according to Today.

Ryan is also known for his epic jokes about parenting on Twitter: ‘ On our 6am walk, my daughter asked where the moon goes each morning. I let her know it’s in heaven, visiting daddy’s freedom,’ he shared in October 2016.

Months earlier he joked: ‘Being a father is the single greatest feeling on earth. Not including those wonderful years I spent without a child, of course.’

The superstar couple even take playful jabs at each other.

For Blake’s birthday last year, Ryan shared a photo on Instagram last year of himself with his wife mostly cropped out with the caption, ‘Happy birthday to my amazing wife.’
