T.J. Miller says he won’t work with Ryan Reynolds again due to ‘horrific’ treatment on set! Here’s what Reynolds told him… “You will never be a” See More
T.J. Miller, known for his role as Weasel in the Deadpool movies, has said he won’t return for Deadpool 3 or work with Ryan Reynolds again. Miller shared on The Adam Carolla Show that he believes Reynolds hates him.
He described a ‘weird moment’ on set where Reynolds, in character as Deadpool, made a mean comment to him as if he were Weasel.
‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,’ Reynolds reportedly said. Miller was surprised and felt uncomfortable, as did the crew.
Miller thinks the tension goes beyond their characters. He feels Reynolds made the comment because he doesn’t see Miller as funnier or more experienced.
This interaction changed how Miller views Reynolds. ‘Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again,’ he said. Despite this, Miller acknowledged Reynolds’ talent as Deadpool, calling him a great comedian.
Miller has faced various controversies over the years. In 2017, he was accused of sexual assault, which he denied.
He was also accused of bullying on the set of Silicon Valley and was written off the show. In 2018, he was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat on an Amtrak train, but charges were dropped due to his past brain surgery.
Despite his feelings, Miller wishes Reynolds well and admires his work in Deadpool. ‘He’s so quick, he’s so funny,’ Miller said. However, he feels Reynolds changed after becoming famous from the first Deadpool movie.
Miller said his opinion might change, as it did with Michael Bay, whom he now considers a friend.
But for now, don’t expect to see Weasel in future Deadpool films. ‘I think it’s weird to just go back and play Weasel 10 years later,’ he said. Miller doesn’t wish Reynolds ill but feels they won’t work together again.
