Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged! After their relationship became public in 2023, there had been much speculation about when the tight-end would pop the question.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement by sharing a collaborative post to their Instagram profiles on Aug. 26. See below for all the photos from the proposal.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are getting married, the couple have announced in an emotional social media post.

‘Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married,’ Swift said on Instagram.

Swift shared an array of pictures showing Kelce getting down on one knee on Instagram along with the ‘So High School’ song she wrote about the Kansas City Chiefs great.

The couple went public with their relationship in September 2023 when the singer appeared alongside Travis’s mother, Donna, at a Kansas Chiefs game.

Since that day their romance has captivated the world, with Swift supporting Kelce’s run to two Super Bowls while the NFL star has traveled alongside her around the globe on her wildly successful Eras tour.

Throughout that time, Kelce has faced repeated scrutiny over his future plans with the singer. And now he has got down on one knee and popped the question just days before the beginning of what many expect to be his final NFL season.

He was pictured in Kansas City earlier this week at the launch of a documentary about the team but he appeared at the event without Taylor.

Kelce’s family were there and gave no indication of any knowledge about the huge news that was on the way.

Kelce’s close friend Patrick Mahomes was quick to congratulate the couple, sharing Swift’s post on Instagram with three love-hearts.
