Taylor Swift fans claim to spot another ‘adorable’ nod to singer at Travis Kelce’s Outfit for tonight’s Chiefs game against the Giants
Eagle-eyed Swifties believe they’ve found an ‘adorable’ nod to their beloved singer at Travis Kelce’s new steakhouse in Kansas City.
Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes finally opened their ‘1587 Prime’ restaurant this week after announcing 18 months ago that they were teaming up off the field to launch it.
Along with partners Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, the pair enjoyed a night out at 1587 Prime over the weekend to celebrate Patrick’s 30th birthday, while their mothers Donna and Randi also had a meal there together this weekend.
In a photo shared by Randi Mahomes on Instagram, her and Donna can be seen holding up ‘keepsakes’ while at the steakhouse, which appear to be special 1587 Prime cards that include cartoon images of female characters wearing their son’s high school and college jerseys.
And Swift’s die-hard legion of fans are convinced that the character on Donna’s cards is supposed to be the songstress.
One of the cartoons shows a woman with light brown hair, rosy cheeks and red lipstick wearing Kelce’s old No 18 Cincinnati jersey, along with a sparkling grey headband, while the other depicts a girl with a similar appearance in his No 11 Cleveland Heights shirt.
After one Swiftie posted the Cincinnati cartoon on Instagram, another replied: ‘He loves her and is obsessed with his crush. They are endgame’.
A second put: ‘So cute!!!!!!’
’Adorable intention. Travis’s ideal I think,’ said a third.
While one simply commented: ‘I love this’.
However, one user instead claimed: ‘Looks like travis’s mom’.
It is unclear whether the design was intended as a tribute to Taylor or Donna, with Randi’s cards appearing to show characters with slightly differing features.
As part of the alcohol menu at the swanky downtown Kansas City steakhouse, four drinks are listed under ‘The Players’ section. One drink each has been dedicated in honor of Mahomes and Kelce, as well as their partners Taylor and Brittany.
Swift’s drink is called ‘The Alchemy’, which is also the name of a song from the 14-time Grammy winner’s 2024 album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
The beverage contains a clarified citrus vodka blend, dry curacao, aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime, and is finished with oolong tea.
Swift may well be in attendance at Kelce’s latest NFL game on Sunday as the Chiefs prepare to take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The pop megastar made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium last weekend, albeit while trying to stay under the radar.
An incognito Swift arrived for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles behind a giant screen, while she was not seen watching on from her usual private suite. The reasons for her secret entrance are still unknown.
The Chiefs will hope to put their first win of the season on the board against the Giants on Sunday following a disastrous start which has seen them go 0-2 for the first time in the Mahomes era.
