This is a clip from a few months ago of ICE agents running over a protestor in Los Angeles. If the protestor had whipped out a gun and shot the ICE agent, do you think that MAGA would commend him for justified self defense?
A video clip from June 6, 2025, showing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during a raid in downtown Los Angeles has resurfaced online, reigniting discussions about protest tactics and political hypocrisy.
The footage, captured during widespread immigration enforcement operations, depicts a protester attempting to block an unmarked ICE SUV carrying detainees.
According to reports from the Los Angeles Times and KTLA, the demonstrator pounded on the vehicle’s hood before being knocked down and partially run over as the SUV accelerated forward, then reversed and sped away. The protester’s condition was not immediately clear, but no fatalities were reported in the incident.
Federal agents in riot gear were on site detaining workers in the Garment District amid clashes with crowds who threw objects and shouted slogans against the raids.

The clip gained renewed attention after a social media post captioned: “This is a clip from a few months ago of ICE agents running over a protestor in Los Angeles.
If the protestor had whipped out a gun and shot the ICE agent, do you think that MAGA would commend him for justified self defense?” The post, which questions whether supporters of former President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement would apply self-defense standards consistently, has drawn thousands of comments debating use of force, Second Amendment rights, and immigration policy.
ICE officials stated at the time that agents acted in accordance with protocols during the chaotic scene, while protesters accused them of excessive force.

No charges were filed against the driver, but the event contributed to larger demonstrations that summer, including freeway blockades and clashes with law enforcement.
Civil rights groups, such as the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, condemned the raids and called for accountability.
The incident remains a flashpoint in ongoing debates over immigration enforcement under the current administration.
