Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend has issued a brutal warning to Taylor Swift, and she didn’t hold back.

Swift and Kelce have broken the internet with the news of their engagement, after the NFL star got down on one knee to pop the all-important question.

The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

The high-profile pair have been together since July 2023, after they started dating while Swift was in the throes of her now world-famous Eras tour.

In the immediate aftermath of the engagement announcement, fans could type in either Swift’s or Kelce’s name on Google and see celebratory confetti.

It really is a big deal for Swifties everywhere.

And while fans all around the world were quick to congratulate their favorite A-list couple, Swift was issued a stern warning from one person prior to their engagement.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the Kansas City Chiefs star’s ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry, did not speak highly of the sports star.

She branded the NFL player as a ‘cheating narcissist’ who would never ‘change.’

But directing her warning at Swift, she added: “Only time will tell, but like the saying always goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.

“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!”

But she’s not the only former partner of Travis to publicly speak out about what he’s really like to be in a relationship with.

YouTube star Kayla Nicole dated the NFL player for five years, until the pair parted ways in 2022.

The two were also engaged for some time, but it seems that the star has spoken out more pleasantly since they decided to call time on things.

Nicole took to an Instagram Q&A and wrote: “People are sometimes only meant to be part of your life for a season.

“Give yourself time and permission to grieve because losing a bond can be heartbreaking.”

In an interview with People magazine, Nicole shared that she has chosen to ‘protect herself.’

The star added: “Publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is.

“The love is still there.”

But amid the noise, fans have all said the same thing about Kelce and Swift’s engagement.

One noted: “Oh that ring is HUGE.”

Another added: “The way that ring could buy my entire life…”
