It looks like Violet Affleck has been shopping in her stepmother Jennifer Lopez’s closet.

The 18-year-old daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner stepped out on Friday, Aug. 9 in what looks to be the same Dolce & Gabbana dress that Lopez, 55, once wore for a date night with Ben, 51.

Violet was spotted out and about in Brentwood, Calif. wearing the pink-and-white chiffon gown with long sleeves, romantic pleating and a wrap neckline. The teen paired the formal look with red-and-white sneakers and half crew socks — a very Gen Z-forward styling approach.

Lopez had previously worn the dress for a 2023 Valentine’s Day date night with husband Ben. She accessorized with gold platform sandals, a gold clutch purse and a white belt adorned with the Dolce & Gabbana logo. The star’s hair was slicked back into a sleek ponytail.

The twinning moment comes amid reports of tension in Lopez and Ben’s two-year marriage.

The couple have spent most of the summer apart as Lopez has been vacationing in both Europe and the Hamptons, New York while Ben was filming his upcoming sequel The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles. In the month of July, the couple were on separate coasts for both their two-year anniversary and Lopez’s birthday.

Lopez recently returned to L.A. and began searching for a new home after the couple listed the Beverly Hills mansion they purchased together in May 2023.

During Lopez’s stay in the Hamptons, Violet was seen spending time with her stepmother. In photos captured on July 14, the duo walked with their arms around each other as they appeared to enter 75 Main restaurant joined by Violet’s best friend, actress Cassidey Fralin.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that Lopez and Violet “really enjoy each other’s company.”

“They both seem so happy to be spending this time together, and are just enjoying the moment,” said the insider.

On Aug. 9, a source told PEOPLE that Ben was “doing well.”

“He thrives when he’s busy and he’s been working nonstop,” the source said. “The kids are still off from school. He spends a lot of time with them, too.”

“It hasn’t been the easiest summer for him either,” the insider added. “He’s just trying to stay focused and make every day as good as possible.”
