Watch the Emotional Moment Travis Kelce pays tribute to Taylor Swift in Chiefs locker room as his team close in on the Super Bowl
Travis Kelce tipped his hat to girlfriend Taylor Swift after an outstanding display led his Kansas City Chiefs team to a 23-14 win over the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Kelce scored a touchdown and recorded seven receptions for 117 yards in an outstanding display by the tight end that signaled his return to top form at the crucial stage of the season.
After the game, the 35-year-old Kelce spoke of how crucial the bye week for the Chiefs was, allowing him to rest last weekend when most other teams were playing.
Asked if he was feeling 25 again, Kelce referenced a hit single from girlfriend when he answered: ’22 baby, 22′.
He added: ‘Anytime you can get healthy and work on the body late in the season, I am going to take it all the time.
‘You saw me do it last year, I am always appreciative of the hard work we put in. 100 percent (I felt better). There is nothing better than playoff football, especially up here at Arrowhead.
‘The crowd is always electric. But the feeling that you get playing in the games with the guys you work with all year with, it’s the most gratifying feeling.
‘Once I get the ball in my hands, I feel like I am different player. But we’re focused on the next task ahead.’

The Chiefs return next Sunday night, where they will play the winner of Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens for a place in the Super Bowl.
Swift, meanwhile, was joined in the stands by Caitlin Clark, with the duo sat in Kelce’s VIP suite to watch the game against the Texans.
The two appeared to live every twist and turn of a dramatic and tense game against the Texans.
Swift erupted with joy when Kelce scored his touchdown, leaping up to hug Clark who looked like she could hardly believe she was celebrating her team winning with another of her idols.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also paid tribute to Kelce on the field at Arrowhead moments after the win over the Texans was official.
‘You know eight-seven was gonna show up whenever [there’s] a big time moment, and he did that,’ Mahomes told ESPN’s Lisa Salters after the game.
‘I mean, everybody was asking, ‘Where’s Travis Kelce at?’ And I think he showed the world where he’s at.’
